Artist Agreement

This agreement (the “Agreement”) is made and entered into as of the date signed below, by and between Harmon eSessions at Savannah Guitar (“Harmon eSessions”) and the undersigned artist or group (“Artist”).

Scope of Performance

The Artist agrees to perform at Harmon eSessions events, including livestreamed and archived performances, in accordance with the terms outlined in this Agreement.

Music Ownership and Licensing

The Artist agrees to the following conditions regarding the music performed:

• Original Works: The Artist certifies that all music performed is either original or owned by the Artist, and the Artist holds all rights to perform and distribute such works.
• Licensed Covers: If performing a cover of a copyrighted work, the Artist certifies that they have obtained all necessary performance rights, licenses, or permissions from the copyright holder.
• Indemnification: The Artist agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Harmon eSessions from any claims, liabilities, or costs arising from unauthorized use of copyrighted material during their performance.

Livestream, Archiving, and Distribution

By signing this Agreement, the Artist grants Harmon eSessions the following permissions:

• Livestream: Permission to livestream their performance on YouTube.
• Archiving: Permission to record and archive their performance for exclusive use by Harmon eSessions in promotional, educational, and other non-commercial contexts.
• Distribution: The Artist grants Harmon eSessions the exclusive right to livestream, record, and distribute the performance. Archived recordings will be hosted and distributed solely through the official Harmon eSessions YouTube channel. The Artist may edit and share clips up to 15 seconds in length on their own branded social media properties (e.g., YouTube Shorts, TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook Stories), provided that such clips tag Harmon eSessions at Savannah Guitar and link back to the original video. Be cool.

Compensation

The Artist acknowledges that no financial compensation is offered for participation. Harmon eSessions is a community-based, non-commercial series intended to showcase emerging and established artists through professional livestreaming and archival video content. (Tiny Desk doesn’t pay either—we’re in good company.)

Promotion and Marketing

The Artist grants Harmon eSessions permission to use their name, image, and likeness for promotional purposes related to the event.

Conduct and Professionalism

The Artist agrees to conduct themselves in a professional manner and adhere to all Harmon eSessions policies during the event. No whining.

Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Georgia.

Entire Agreement

This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and supersedes any prior written or oral agreements.
